About

I’m Casey Chevalier, a cloud-focused database engineer based in Colorado. I grew up in Ridgway and earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.

My career has centered on building and operating reliable data platforms — from traditional on-prem systems to modern AWS environments. I’m especially interested in the intersection of databases, infrastructure, and reliability, and in making complex systems easier to operate over time.

Outside of work, I play guitar and synth, bike around Colorado, cook (especially pizza), read history and sci-fi, and explore retro computing and gaming.
